NvSEA website
Spent about 45 minutes on the phone with Alan Washburn, our webmaster. We're both excited to get the site up to date and more informative. He tells me updates should be visable on our site within a week of our getting information to him.
We're looking to get more timely information on the site, so our members have a place to go for Nevada information as well as NAEA stuff.
Pictures!! We'd like to start incorporating pictures on our site.

Funds for Lapel Pins and Name Badges
In phone conference with Bob Dubin, our president, he indicated that his recollection of the last board meeting agreed to funding of both lapel pins and name badges. He again authorized the purchase of 500 lapel pins. Also the name badges for officers will be funded.
I'm off to check out the Nevada state shape in Silver for our name badges.

Busy Friday- lots of people to talk with
Just got off the phone with Juanita regarding table at National Conference. She says she requested one from National so I sent the following email to Sam Matlick
Sam:
Nevada Society of EA’s would like a table/booth and the National Conference. Has that been requested by someone else? If not, can we have a space?
During the affiliate call last week, it was stated that there would be an opportunity for NvSEA to have a table after the vendors shut down. Who do we contact for that?
Please let me know if you’re getting duplicate (or more) requests about things. I’ve set up a blog http://nvsea.blogspot.com/ trying to get the board to indicate what they’ve contacted NAEA and each other about.
Thanks for your help!
Also, have spoken to Donna @ the lapel pin place. We can order as little as 100 pins @ $1.99 each. (plus the $85 set up fee) they need an answer by Monday if we want pins at the National Conference.
I'm heading over to ASAP Trophies, Gary is working on our name badges for officers. I'm trying to get them in time for our meeting on July 20.
Our newsletter (new version) was emailed yesterday. Yoav will send a reminder next week. We've got some information in this one, so keep an eye out and give me your opinion. He, Mary and I will work on the addresses to get more people aware of our meetings.
That's it for now... Marti
This is from Shirley- she wanted to put these on an agenda- but since we don't seem to have a board meeting set... here you go.

First post to this blog
It's all Shirley's fault. She says something about a blog, and I'm on it. Good idea, though.
The idea is that as NvSEA board members, we blog here about our contacts, calls, texts, emails between one another and even contacts with National. The goal is to not repeat efforts, keeping us more organized.
I've tried to sending emails, but not everyone sees the replies. So, unless the email you send contains personal (non-chapter) information, it will be posted here as well.
All input is appreciated. By the way, we need to have a Board Meeting.
